‘SPACE RACE’ (ULTRABOOST)
OVERVIEW
This project involved creating the storyboard for ‘SpaceRace’, a video campaign produced to promote the Adidas Ultraboost 20 across social media platforms. The final film is shown below.
I was responsible for the pre-production stage - developing a detailed storyboard to visualise the narrative, pacing, and key shots ahead of the shoot. The storyboard played a crucial role during the pitch phase with Adidas, clearly communicating the creative intent and helping align all stakeholders early on.
On set, the storyboard acted as a practical production tool - giving clear visual direction to the director, performers, and crew.
By previsualising camera angles, transitions, and timing, it helped streamline the shoot, reduce uncertainty, and ensure efficient use of time, resulting in a smoother production process and a focussed final outcome.
